Futures contracts of chana traded higher on the NCDEX due to demand from dal millers ahead of festivals. The most active September contract on the NCDEX was at 5,290 rupees per 100 kg, up 1% from Wednesday. In Delhi, chana was sold at 5,500 rupees per 100 kg, up 50 rupees from the previous close. In Bikaner, a key market, it was sold at 5,270 rupees per 100 kg, up 40 rupees, traders said. Arrivals in the benchmark market of Delhi were at 375 tn and in Bikaner, it was at 500-700 bags, both unchanged from the previous day.
