Hurricane Irma made a landfall in Florida on Sunday but has weakened quickly to tropical depression level. The drop in strength has eased worries about major economic impact from the storm however uncertainty will prevail. The weather pattern has led to flooding in further states of Georgia. Florida emergency management officials estimate nearly 13 million residents two-thirds of the state's population remain without power. The storm is still expected to travel through the state Georgia, into Alabama, and then into the Mid-South, based on the latest projections. . Market focus will continue to be on strength and direction of the storm. It could have a major impact of US crops as well as energy industry.
