Prices of chana were up in Delhi because of demand from the dal millers ahead of festivals. In Delhi, the benchmark market, chana was sold at 5,475-5,500 rupees per 100 kg, up 50 rupees from Thursday. Lower arrivals are also seen supporting the upside. Arrivals were at 150 tn today as against 375 tn on Thursday. However, in Bikaner, another key market, the commodity was sold at 5,250 rupees per 100 kg, down 20 rupees from Thursday, traders said. Arrivals were unchanged at 500-700 bags.
