The most-active August contract of mentha oil on MCX rose to an all-time high of 1,198.20 rupees today, due to firm domestic and export demand. The current spike in prices has led to farmers withholding their stocks in anticipation of a further rise in prices. Concerns over crop damage due to recent heavy rains in the key growing regions also supported prices.
