Prices of mustard seed were up in Jaipur, owing to improved demand from oil millers and crushers, coupled with a decline in arrivals. Arrivals across the country were estimated at 120,000 bags (1 bag = 85 kg) today, compared with 135,000 bags on Monday. Increased demand for mustard oil due to the ongoing rainy season is also supporting prices. Market was closed Tuesday on account of Independence Day.
