Prices of chana in Delhi, the benchmark market, was up as arrivals slumped amid improved demand from dal millers. Arrivals of chana were pegged at 525 tn today, down from 1,500 tn on Wednesday. In Delhi, the benchmark market for the pulse, chana was quoted at 5,700 rupees per 100 kg, up 100 rupees from Wednesday, said Amit Rastogi, a trader. Chana was quoted at 5,525 rupees per 100 kg in Bikaner, up 50 rupees from Wednesday, said Pawan Modi, a local-trader.On the NCDEX, the most active September contract of chana traded at 5,039 rupees per 100 kg, up 2.5% from Wednesday.
