L&T Finance Holdings gains on reporting 15% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit
The company has reported 96.35% fall in its net profit at Rs 5.22 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 143.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 84.91% at Rs 22.85 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 151.39 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 15.16% rise in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 248.06 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 215.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total Income of the company increased by 16.55% to Rs 2141.57 crore for quarter under review from Rs 1837.53 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
