Federal Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The Bank has reported 24.78% rise in its net profit at Rs 201.24 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 161.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased 11.67% to Rs 2327.79 crore for Q2FY17 from Rs 2084.53 crore for the corresponding quarter in previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal improved to 2.78% as compared to 2.90% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.61% in Q2FY17.
