EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) is likely to jump 18.4 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 567 crore and margin may expand 110 basis points to 31.9 percent in Q2.
Standalone numbers comprise of only Royal Enfield business. Volume growth remained strong in both Royal Enfield and commercial vehicle sales volumes. Royal Enfield volumes grew by 31 percent YoY to 1.67 lakh units and commercial vehicles sales increased 15 percent YoY to 13,408 units during the quarter.
Analysts say Royal Enfield demand remained very healthy and it is on track to achieve production guidance of 9 lakh by FY19. The company hiked Royal Enfield price by 1 percent in August, the second price hike of calendar year.
