According to Ministry of Commerce value of exports of spices
has touched 1780 crores which is highest monthly export in the last few months.
Last year exports of Spices were recorded of Rs 1473 rores
that is 21 % lower than current years exports . In term of exports in February,
country’s exports had been recorded of Rs 1370 crores which shows that export
of spices in March as compared to February has also increased. The Red chilli is
highest exporting spices and besides this coriander , turmeric, black pepper
and cumin are also exported primarily.
